We made this recording the day before an appointment when we'd find out if C could stop chemo at round 4. A choice that felt very real and possible at the time, but smaller and smaller as we approached it.
Listening back we're both full of smiles remembering how much we needed a reprieve from how we'd been feeling. I'm really grateful that we lived the small window of possibility that life presented us with. Even if life had other plans for us.
